Over sixty-five years makes for many stages that have marked the growth of the Artsana Group, starting from the birth in 1958 of Chicco, the most well-known trademark of the Group. NeoBaby, the mass market retailers brand for products dedicated to early childhood was founded in 1975. Soon, in 1961, came the establishment of Pic, the brand specialised in self-care, while and Lycia, the trademark dedicated to cosmetics, were founded in 1979 (sold in 2016) and Serenity, in 1981 (sold in 2013).

These are the milestones of a course of development that has been relentless and which, starting from 1967, has also included the opening of European branches. The stages of international expansion include the opening of the Hong Kong branch in 1992, which paved the way for the growth of the new Asian markets where today the group can boast a solid presence. In 1996, the Artsana Group became even richer in know-how when it opened its doors to the retail chain Prénatal, while between 1997 and 1998, the broadening of the foreign markets continued with the opening of the branches in Turkey and the United States. The latest brand to become part of the Artsana family, in 2008: The Boppy Company, American market leader in nursing pillows, based in Colorado. The international development is still growing: between 2009 and 2011 new branches have been opened in India, Mexico and Poland.
